Microsoft added three apps that are modified for use in the Apple Watch. They are the Microsoft Powerpoint, OneDrive, and OneNote. The reason why Microsoft did this is that they believe that the Apple Watch is going to be a commercial success and far larger than Android Wear
Microsoft recently updated the iOS version of Powerpoint so that Apple Watch owners can use it as a remote, to begin presentations, move to the next slide and follow a user's progress through viewing elapsed time, current slide number and total number of slides. As of now, the watch app only controls the iOS version of Powerpoint.
Further, Microsoft also added OneDrive in the Watch. This will allow users to see, sort, and delete images. They can also check various folders for images on a certain place. However, users won't be able to arrange through folders, open documents, or buy more storage through the app.
OneNote was also added by Microsoft. This enables user dictation for new notes and a quick summary of all saved notes. It is quite similar to Android Wear. Users can draw letters for new notes on the various touchscreens.
Chinatopix said, that "Microsoft believes the Apple Watch will be a massive commercial product and far larger than the Android Wear smartwatches."
There are also available game apps for the Apple Watch. Two are currently available for download from the App Store to an iPhone device.
The first is the "Spy_Watch," which is from "Surgeon Simulator" developer Bossa Studios. Users will find themselves as a handler for a secret agent, whom they will send off on different missions. The secret agent will ask gamers questions, which can be answered from the Watch.
Thought this can be played on an iPhone, the game is specifically designed for the Apple Watch.
Another game is the condensed RPG "Runeblade." Gamers will use different spells and runes to battle fantasy critters. Everything about the game was designed for efficiency and simplicity to fit on the small Watch screen.
The game is mainly played on the Watch. However, if users want to buy special boosters and other game items, they can just simply use their iPhones and purchase on the App Store. "Runeblade" is also free to play.
