‘Spider-Man Reboot’ Cast, Plot Update: Dylan O’Brien vs Nat Wolff, who’s the better pick? New Spidey go head to head with Iron Man

By

Sony Pictures and Marvel are actively looking for a new actor to star in the "Spider-Man Reboot." Dylan O'Brien and Nat Wolff are two of the fans' strongest bets to be the new Peter Parker although reports online linking the two in the reboot are still not yet official. Superhero movies call for the appearance of a villain as well and some reports claim that Spidey might be fighting not against a villain but next to Iron Man.

Long before the Sony Pictures leaks, reports about Dylan O'Brien's attachment to the "Spider-Man Reboot" are already swirling online. The 23-year old actor initially gained attention when he was cast as Stiles in MTV's "Teen Wolf." O'Brien became more popular when he led the Gladers in "The Maze Runner" film adaptation. With all these credentials, will Sony and Marvel choose Dylan to be the new "Wall-Crawler"?

When asked about the possibility of starring in the new "Spider-Man Reboot," Dylan said that he's always wanted to play the part as it is a huge role for every actor his age. However, Marvel seems to be looking for a much younger actor to be the new Peter Parker.

Recent reports claim that the studio already has already shortlisted up-and-coming actors for the role including Nat Wolff. The 20-year old "The Fault In Our Stars" and "Paper Towns" actor is one of the strong contenders to get the part of "Spider-Man."

The new "Spider-Man Reboot" will be released in the wake of the events in "Captain America: Civil War" as part of Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 3. A report suggests that the reboot's possible plot could involve another Marvel superhero, Iron Man. Since the reboot will be released after the "Civil War," the two is said to be sharing the scenes, fighting scenes to be exact, in Spidey's solo film. The aftermath of "Captain America 3" will cause Spidey to side in the anti-superhuman registration and fights Iron Man to avoid being captured.

Even Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. hints that Tony Stark and Peter Parker's path might finally cross in "Captain America: Civil War." During his interview in Late Show with David Letterman, Downey Jr. said Spidey might appear in the movie as he knows Marvel is currently looking for an actor to play the part.

Dylan O'Brien and Nat Wolff are just two of the possible actors to get the role of Peter Parker for the "Spider-Man Reboot." Whoever gets the part might appear as well in "Captain America: Civil War" before starring in the new Spider-Man movie and fight the Iron Man.
