Star Wars: Battlefront is all set for release this November and those who will pre-order will get a limited DLC Bonus for the "Battle of Jakku". Star Wars fans will be releaving their favorite battles once the game hits their consoles this year.
Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, it was only in dreams that we could fly the Millennium Falcon. DICE, in collaboration with Electronic Arts, LucasArts, and Disney Interactive Studios has turned this dream into a reality. This momentous collaborative effort has quite possibly surpassed every fan's expectations with the new Star Wars: Battlefront, scheduled to be released on November 17 and barely a month's release prior to the long awaited Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Gamespot gives us a full recount of the very exclusive Star Wars Celebration, where the first official trailer was released amidst hardcore geeks and regularly happy attendees.
The official trailer is currently up on the Star Wars: Battlefront official website. Beautifully rendered graphics and extremely detailed gameplay has geeks on edge for the release of the new Battlefront. The trailer features speeder bike chases amidst the lush greenery of Endor, AT-ST and AT-AT walkers being taken out by rebel forces, high speed, high octane TIE Fighter sequences battling out with X-Wings on the ice planet Hoth, and Darth Vader - stuff that dreams are made of.
Extreme detail, precise documentation, and extensive research made the game possible. DICE and company made an exceptional effort to research the locations used for the actual Star Wars movie setting. The planets Endor, Hoth, and Tatooine have been crafted to the delight of hardcore fans. Sullust will also be featured, a previously unexplored planet. Gameplay details highlight playable vehicles such as speeder bikes, snow speeders and the walkers AT-ST and AT-AT. Aerial vehicles are also playable like TIE Fighters, X-Wings, and of course, the Millennium Falcon.
Playable Hero characters are definitely at the forefront. Darth Vader will be playable, as well as Bobba Fett. The full list of Hero characters have yet to be announced. The game is currently available for pre-order to receive DLC Battle of Jakku expansion on December 1, a full week ahead of its availability on December 8.
