PS Plus Free Games April and May 2015: German PS Blog Leaks Questionable Roster for next month; Shovel Knight really included?

By

A lot of PS Plus free games for April and May 2015 have already come to surface. Well, that is the case for the earlier month. For May, however, much anticipation is still running through the veins of many gamers.

This excitement was further escalated when a German PlayStation blog leaked a photo that lists the different games that will be released in May.

While some of the entries are deemed reasonable, a few made the announcement seem fake, particularly the inclusion of Shovel Knight. The game, suited for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, was released very recently for a hefty price. Certainly, releasing it for free right away will anger majority of the early buyers.

Other games released would be Rayman Legends for PS4 and PS3, Knack for PS4, Need For Speed Rivals for PS3, together with Fruit Ninja and Asphalt Injection for PS Vita.

Looking deeper into this list, Rayman Legends is a reasonable entry because it was made free in Xbox One Games with Gold. Knack, on the other hand, was an unpopular game and will benefit from being free for many gamers to gain some appreciation.

Need For Speed Rivals is the hardest one to doubt because, aside from being an old game, it has already been free on Xbox One through EA Access.

Pushsquare advices to simply wait for the official announcement as this leaked list may just be a hoax.

Furthermore, Rayman Legends was enlisted with a cross-buy title. The game manufacturer previously gave away Dragon's Crown, but it lacks any reason as to why it would not have a Vita version this time.

There are definitely a lot of PS Plus free games for April and May 2015. Users, nevertheless, should be careful with random announcements so as not to keep their hopes up. While some of the games listed in that blog have a chance of really being free, the PlayStation official announcement will have the final say.
