It appears as though the new "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will not be universally accessible to gamers using all kinds of consoles and platforms. News of the game's accessibiity came directly from Activision. The game has only been confirmed for the PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One thus far, and it appears doubtful that any new platforms will be added to the list.
Given the high-end graphics and other features expected to be a part of the game, Activsion and its partner developers working on the game may have concluded that configuring it solely for current-gen consoles would be the faster and more efficient way to make the game.
If the game does indeed only come to the current-gen consoles, it would be the first "Call of Duty" game to not include the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on its list of consoles, according to Cinema Blend. Interestingly, not all of the current-gen consoles will have "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." The Wii U will not have the game, according to Wii U Daily.
There was hope of the game possibly being made available for the Wii U, especially since "Black Ops 2" was launched on the console back in 2012. Exciting new and returning features will also be part of the game.
The highly popular Zombies mode will make its triumphant return in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," and it looks as though it will offer more than just mindless fun. The remade Zombies is expected to have its own storyline, and it will even have its own progression system, according to the Express UK.
As for some of the new features, one of the more interesting ones to be announced is that players will now be given the chance to choose the gender of the protagonist. Both female and male protagonists will feature their own gender-specific range of movements to evoke realism within the game.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is expected to be launched on November 6.
