Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's second DLC pack, Ascendance, is almost done with its timed exclusivity for Xbox One players. By April 30, Ascendance will be released for PS4, PS3, and PC consoles. The second DLC pack offers new content that die-hard Call of Duty players will definitely look forward to.
Ascendance is the second downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with the first being Havoc. The DLC features part two of the Exo Zombies co-op experience wherein the infection introduces an expanded multiplayer map with new enemies and new breeds of zombies. The pack also contains four new maps, bonus weapons, and the power to use the unique grappling ability from campaign mode.
The four new maps include Perplex, Site 244, Climate, and Chop Shop all set in Sydney. Players fight to dominate the modular five-story apartment complex with construction drones that constantly shifts the modules, creating new routes and cover positions.
Players will also get an all-new bonus interchangeable weapon, the OHM directed energy two-in-one LMG/Shotgun and its OHM Werewolf Custom Variant. The grappling ability is also now available in the Ascendance DLC MP maps through the Exo Grapple Playlist.
Ascendance also includes the second chapter of the Exo Zombies storyline, Infection. The infection has spread to a nearby town introducing an expanded co-op map including a Burgertown franchise, a fast food restaurant known to Call of Duty fans. The map introduces new enemies like the giant Goliath Exo Zombies, Acid Drippers, and more. The expansion offers new traps and the new Magnetron Microwave Gun in order to effectively take on the evolved zombies. It also features the new Civilian Extraction Mode which allows players to help fellow survivors escape a growing horde.
The second DLC pack of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Ascendance, will arrive to PS4, PS3, and PC on April 30 for $14.99.
