'Spectre' Update: Daniel Craig back on set as James Bond after knee surgery

By

Daniel Craig is back for filming "Spectre" after getting his arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury.

The 47-year-old hunk was reported to have started suffering the injury while filming in the lofts of the Austrian Alps for his upcoming movie "Spectre."

Though for an action movie superstar like Craig means getting one injury isn't enough to send him to the hospital for treatment.

He continued filming at Pinewood Studios near England to finish his action scenes as much as possible, all the while worsening his neglected limb. Proceeding to shoot in Mexico finally had Craig to get medical attention and was then brought to New York with medics to carry out the procedure in his leg.

Excited to return for shooting, The Sun newspaper reveals from a source that, "Daniel is made of strong stuff and wanted to return as quick as possible." Fresh from the hospital, Craig could not do strenuous activities and had to let his action stunt man Chuck Aaron accomplish most of the dangerous shots. "He filmed the face shots but his double was doing all the running. Daniel will have to take it easy until his knee is strong enough for strenuous sequences," the source added.

Meanwhile, Bond fans can expect this movie a huge kickstart for an opening as Producer Michael Wilson tells Empire that this film is "maybe the biggest sequence we've ever done".

As well, audiences can drink themselves with a promise of dark and moody plot line.

Continuing to uncover organizational secrets, Bond encounters a new villain Franz Oberhauser, played by Christoph Waltz, who seems to know Bond a lot. This movie will have Bond visit old places in his past following cryptic messages that is sure to interest fans of espionage movies.

"Spectre", which is the twenty fourth James Bond movie is set to be released on November 6, 2015.
