After Mortal Kombat X was released last April 14, the game still reigns above other games this year's first quarter in UK charts. This is another tremendous achievement by NetherRealm studios, which started this epic gaming franchise over two decades ago. The game that features one of the most brutal and graphic depictions of violence in the entire gaming world continues to dominate the favorite lists of gamers everywhere.

Reviews for the game are all satisfactory. Gamespot points out that it is the fastest selling game in its 23-year history. It managed to push GTA V down to second place in the UK charts, partly due to the recent PC release as pointed out by the game critic.

However the game have more in store, Fans of this legendary title will have another "interesting" character ready to charge into the bloodlust fest and it is Jason Vorhees. The Jason DLC is set for release on May 5 and gamers are itching to wield this psychotic serial killer and see how he fares against veteran human butchering mainstay characters in the series.

The subtle yet perfect blend of gore and humor, characterized by hilarious intros, outlandish finishing moves and the infamous "selfie" kill move allows Mortal Kombat X to shine above other titles of the franchise.

Jason is not the only non-MK character that will debut this year, the Predator DLC is also set for release though no specific date has been official revealed. Other DLCs include new costumes for Ermac, Reptile and Mileena and additional characters namely, Tanya and Tremor.

Though there are no available footage of Jason Vorhees in action, many are expecting this package will include hilarious, outlandish and gorily gratifying set of moves that will be satisfactory. Jason is one of the characters included in the DLC characters bundle that will be released in May.
