"Xenoblade Chronicles X" had been getting so much attention prior to its release date in Japan. The anticipation for the Wii U exclusive game had been gaining momentum even before its launch on April 29th thanks to a few gaming enthusiasts who uploaded the game's opening video plus over 20 minutes of gameplay. With that, Nintendo gamers in North America and the EU would have a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming installment of the "Xenoblade" franchise.
The opening video for "Xenoblade Chronicles X" was leaked by Dave Tsang in his YouTube channel and it featured how stunning the upcoming video game would be; add to that, the graphics quality of the gameplay included in the leaked video was "absolutely lovely," based on a report from DualShockers.
The opening for "Xenoblade Chronicles X" featured the cosmic battle between two warring starships with the female protagonist narrating in Japanese. A few gamers who watched the video on Tsang's YouTube channel compared the game to "Destiny," but "a lot better." Other gamers were hoping the international release of the game would be scheduled around July to September this year.
The leaked video of the upcoming Wii U game would definitely come with spoliers; however, the video would still be in Japanese as there had been no specific date yet for the North America release of "Xenoblade Chronicles X," except for the earlier reports that it would be launched later this 2015, based on a report from TechnoBuffalo. Another leaked video on the game, uploaded by AGB Videos, featured New Los Angeles in the upcoming installment in the franchise.
New Los Angeles in "Xenoblade Chronicles X" made Xbox One and PS4 gamers who watched the leaked video wish the upcoming game would also be released on the two top next generation game consoles. Unfortunately, that would not be possible as the gorgeous game would be a Nintendo exclusive.
Meanwhile, "Xenoblade Chronicles X" would promise a more massive gameplay experience, based on a report from Gamespot. Based on their report, gamers would be able to cross to any direction in all the five continents in the game. The game would be featuring a much bigger map that would include steep valleys and rolling hills; add to that, gamers would have the navigation ball that would enable them to get a bird's eye view of the terrain and how vast would be the navigable area. Meanwhile, the combat would remain the same with the inclusion of hand held weapons, which the gamers could wield anytime.
"Xenoblade Chronicles X" would be officially launched in Japan on April 29th. Nintendo had yet to announce the international release of the anticipated video game exclusive.
