What to expect from the Galaxy Note 3 Android 5.0 update?

Gotta Be Mobile listed five things to expect from the Lollipop upgrade:

  1. Expect the Galaxy Note 3 Android 5.0 update to pick up the pace in May. In April, the Lollipop upgrade has already made significant development in April and it is going to continue this May. Those who have a carrier-branded model need to check information from their respective carriers from time-to-time. On the other hand, those who have unbranded devices will need to check for the update.
  2. Expect a Galaxy Note 3 Neo Android 5.0 update. Samsung France has reportedly confirmed the Lollipop upgrade for the Galaxy Note 3. Hence, it is going to come at some point, around May or June.
  3. Expect that the roll out is not going to end soon. Though it is said that the update is taking "big strides," it is not going to end anytime soon. Samsung's Lollipop upgrades can take six months or more to complete.
  4. Expect bug fix updates. Verizon Galaxy Note 3 users were complaining about bugs and other issues, and not only Verizon subscribers but as well as other device owners having Android 5.0 update. Hence, U.S. and other international carriers are very much likely to release bug fix updates to Galaxy Note 3.
  5. Expect a cloudy future. It is believed that the Lollipop upgrade could be the last major update for the device, which is said to be "entirely possible." Though the Galaxy Note 3 is a "widely adopted smartphone," Samsung is not seen to be unwilling to offer a device beyond the two year mark, and the Galaxy Note 3 is going to mark two years already in September. Even though the Galaxy Note 3 is an excellent device, it is not guaranteed that it will go one beyond Android 5.0.
