'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' comes with FOV slider support, dedicated multiplayer servers; Beta access comes with 'Black Ops 3' pre-orders

The developers for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" went on Twitter and revealed details on the upcoming coming game's PC edition. It was revealed that the PC edition would come with an FOV slider support as well as dedicated servers for multiplayer matches.

According to Treyarch's Director of Development, which went by the name PCDev on Twitter answered a few questions from "Call of Duty" gamers. Among those he clarified were on the game's PC edition. He said that "BlackOps3 PC will use 100% dedicated servers for all ranked matches. (Same as previous BlackOps PC titles.) This is how we do it." He went on to add that "BlackOps3 will ship with an adjustable FOV slider. (Same as previous BlackOps PC titles.)," based on a report from DSOGaming.

Apart from that, it was also confirmed that the upcoming game would provide more graphics options and that the game developer would be redefining the "max settings" of the game as compared to earlier titles in the "Black Ops" series. On the other, it was still unclear if the game would be coming with DirectX 12 support as it was said that it was still too early to dwell on "specific graphics features."

In other news, it was also revealed that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" would be featuring the first female protagonist in the "Black Ops" series. Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia and executive producer Jason Blundell further gave the details on this feature on a roundtable interview for "Black Ops 3" reveal. Treyarch officials said that gamers could now change the playable character's sex with the customizable playable character feature.

Blundell said that "You can be male, and you can be female. And, by the way, that means you've got a full female track for the whole thing." Add to that, Lamia said that "the emotions and dynamics between characters is kind of gender neutral;" citing the heroine in the movie "Aliens" portrayed by Sigourney Weaver as an example, based on a report from GamesRadar.

On the other hand, several reports on the web had revealed that gamers who would be making pre-order of the upcoming installment in the "Call of Duty" franchise would be able to access the beta-version of the game, based on a report from the Inquistr. Apart from the planned beta, the game was reported to be also adding co-op support. Add to that, the popular zombie co-op mode would return, then there would be the cybernetically enhanced super soldiers that would take the place of the Exo Suits from "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare."

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" would be set for release on November 6th and would be available on P4, Xbox One and the PC. However, it was still uncertain if the game developer would make later on look for another studio to port the game to PS3 and Xbox 360.
