Since the big reveal about "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," many hardcore gamers have been eager to learn more about the upcoming installment of the "Call of Duty" franchise from Activision. While the game developers remained quiet about the upcoming game, fans had been looking back at the World Reveal Announcement trailer for more clues.
"Call of Duty" gamers looked back on the teaser trailer released by Activision and Treyarch on April 12th for clues on what the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" would offer to hardcore fans of the first-person shooter game. Although the teaser trailer was composed by of alphanumeric combinations, a few gaming enthusiasts had spotted coordinates encrypted in the video, based on a report from TechTimes.
Among the locations that were marked by the coordinates were "a Singaporean school, 6 October Bridge in Cairo and another bridge located in Zurich." Apart from that, gamers who checked the "Call of Duty" franchise official website's source code found a blurb that contained interesting details on the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."
The blurb read that "'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' deploys players into a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldier emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare," based on a report from MoviePilot.
Apart from that, there had been rumors among industry insiders and gaming enthusiasts that the game would also be released on last-gen consoles, based on a report from International Business Times. A few industry insiders and gaming enthusiast leaked reports that an alleged PS3, Xbox 360 and even a Wii U edition of the upcoming "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" would be released.
Speaking of release dates, Activision posted a curious Amazon advertisement regarding "Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Day Zero," which might also include the speculated release date for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," based on a report from Gamezone. The advertisement pointed to November 3rd as the release date for the upcoming "Black Ops" game. On the other hand, a few gamers also tried to link this date to other release dates of previous installments in the franchise, like "Advanced Warfare" and "Ghosts" that were launched on November 04th and 05th, respectively.
In any case, Activision and Treyarch had both remained silent about any details on the upcoming game following the April 12th teaser trailer. What's certain was that they would be making the "official reveal" for the game on April 26th.
