Revenge Season 4 Episode 21 went live on ABC Online last Sunday with the back story on the Grayson Manor explosion that claimed the life of Victoria "Queen of the Hamptons" Grayson.
Titled "Aftermath," the post-Grayson Manor mansion explosion scenario presented a suicide note, a fake break-in to frame Amanda Clarke for a murder, a revelation of a cancer condition, and another formerly thought to be dead character still alive, among other surprises.
With only a couple more episodes left in the season Victoria Grayson the matriarch makes a grand exit amid a burning Grayson Manor mansion, leaving Emily Thorne aka Amanda Clarke (Emily VanCamp) without a nemesis. Or so fans are led to think.
TV Line reports that before Victoria set fire on her house while she was in it, she conspired with Mason "Crazy Capote" Treadwell to frame Amanda.
While Amanda inspects the burnt down mansion together with her trusted friend Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann), the Grayson matriarch's suicide note found by Margaux (Karine Vanasse) and Louise (Elena Satine) lead them to believe Emily is to blame.
If there is any doubt as to the finality of the death of Victoria, E! News confirms the non-return of the character played by Madeleine Stowe who has revealed she will no longer be part of another season of Revenge.
Revenge is the story of Emily Thorne who arrives in the Hamptons seemingly a friendly, "girl-next-door" type, but who is really out to exact revenge on the people whom she believes framed her father, sent him to prison, and then murdered him to hide some secrets. The Graysons of the Hamptons are David Clarke's former employers and the target of Emily/Amanda. It turns out her father is still alive, a fact that has the Revenge lead's plans turn upside down.
Revenge Season 4 airs Sundays at 10pm on ABC.
