The Young and the Restless for the first few days of the week highlights the much-awaited confrontation between the fake Jack and Gabriel. Recall that Gabriel is actually Adam who changes his looks to escape possible accusations on a murder. Now, only the real Jack knows about this and this week's scenes from the series give Gabriel hints that he is not dealing with the real thing. Will Gabriel find out about fake Jack real soon?
His discovery starts with Billy's confrontation with Phyllis about Jack's strangeness after their wedding. The two did not get to finish their conversation as Jack arrives. In the ensuing scene, Billy confines to Gabe about his feelings that Jack acts way unlike himself and firing him is the last things Billy expects Jack to do.
More confrontation follows as Gabe decides to go directly to Jack to see the changes Billy tells him. Jack mentions about Gabe not being an Abbot which confuses Gabe for he is certain that Jack is aware that he is not an Abbott nor a Bingham at all. His doubts remain in him and teasers for the next week shows a Gabe trying to investigate his leads and proceeds to Victoria first. How will Gabe get the answer he needs? Will he directly confront Jake about it? If he gets the truth from him, does he have the courage to reveal it and in the process, informs everyone that he is not Gabriel at all.
On the other side of Genoa City, Dylan's cover up for Sharon takes a higher level. Teasers show that Dylan and Michael are at Sharon and argue about disposing the proof that gravely puts Sharon at Austin's murder scene. Sharon who is convinced she may have a part of the crime due to her history of illness offers she might as well surrender but both Michael and Dylan assures here that things will be alright.
