Crazy George R.R. Martin ‘Winds of Winter’ Spoiler Revealed Plus Games of Thrones Season 6 Updates

HBO started airing "Game of Thrones" Season 5, and George R.R. Martin is said to be under pressure to finish the "Winds of Winter" before the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 starts. The author also hinted a big and revealing twist on a long-time character that he is planning to make. Whatever it is, he claims that it will definitely drive readers crazy. In fact, latest rating report revealed that a whopping 18.1 million viewers seemed to be in a craze about the HBO drama, and 10.1 million of these watched it by legal ways.

George R.R. Martin is said to be under big pressure to finish his upcoming book "Winds of Winter" due to HBO airing the fifth season of "Game of Thrones". This made fans worried that the show won't have the material on time for the next season around 2016.

George R.R. Martin reportedly said, "I wish it was out now. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic about how quickly I can finish. But I canceled two convention appearances, I'm turning down a lot more interviews-anything I can do to clear my decks and get this done." The author expects to finish the book before the next season starts. However, the release date is not yet definite.

Entertainment Weekly cited Martin saying that he just had a "big, revealing twist on a long-time character that he never previously considered." He teases that readers are definitely going to love it and will drive them crazy. However, Martin is still weighing if whether he's going to go to that direction or not as it is said to be a great twist and is very "organic and natural."

"And with the various three, four characters involved... it all makes sense. But it's nothing I've ever thought of before. And it's nothing they can do in the show, because the show has already-on this particular character-made a couple decisions that will preclude it, where in my case I have not made those decisions," he said.

"Game of Thrones" airs via HBO and a recent ratings report revealed the April 12 Season 5 for "The Wars to Come" brought a huge 18.1 million viewers in the collective cross-platform (HBO Go, Now, etc.) Live+ 7 ratings. Out of the 18.1 million viewers, 10.11 million may have watched the fifth season by legal ways through HBO Now, and other HBO streaming platforms.

How do you want the plot to turn out in Winds of Winter? Who do you think would be that long-time character that Martin is planning to have a big and revealing twist? Will the "Game of Thrones" continue to rise in ratings? Share us your thoughts in the comments section.
