Scandal season 4 has taken a break for one week as it did not air an episode for April 30. This was actually to give way to an older series by Shonda Rhimes, "Grey's Anatomy."
The drama series on doctors will have a 2-hour special to deliver an emotional episode on Derek Shephard's funeral and burial. To fans of the said TV series, the promo shows the other doctors, which includes Amelia Shephard, Derek's sister, being totally devastated by the news.
The storyline of the episode will, however, also give focus to the other doctors from the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Ben and Bailey would argue about the future, and Jackson will be astonished about a decision made by April. Meredith is set to go someplace, and viewers are speculating she will want to meet with Cristina in Switzerland for some comforting.
As for the next episode of Revenge, "A Few Good Women," which will air on May 7, ABC has released an official trailer to fill in for the show's absence this week. The preview shows Olivia working on the assault case involving her chief towards a Navy officer.
Russell also gets a visit from Jake, who happens to have stabbed him a few times too many in the gut as ordered by Papa Pope in order to make him ally with Liv as well as the team to take down Rowan.
With their history, however, the visit does not appear to turn out well; especially that Quinn is taking over to alleviate the results Jake has caused. Quinn tries to find out more about "Foxtail" from Russell. Certainly, this operation is something that leaves fans with a lot to be curious about in the last two episodes for the season.
There is ample word on what's to come in the series, but actress Kerry Washington makes a post on Twitter that reads, "Today we are filming on Sunday to get this Scandal finale shot for you Gladiators because it's handled."
Scandal season 4 will soon come to a close so viewers should not dare miss another episode. The finale, entitled "You Can't Take Command" is set to air on May 14.
