"The Young and the Restless" star Cady McClain, who plays Kelly on the daytime TV series, recently shared a lengthy post on her Facebook page calling out some of her fans who have been posting negative comments on her page. The 45-year-old actress also seemingly hinted that she will soon be leaving the show.
"It's been a very hard few weeks. A LOT has been going on. When the time comes to talk more about it, I will. I promise," Cady McClain wrote on her official Facebook page.
McClain, who plays the role of Kelly, recently received mixed comments on her role in the CBS series, "The Young and the Restless." Y&R fans initially thought that Kelly died after killing herself, but much to their surprise, Kelly is well and alive and has been plotting on getting Jack all to herself. As McClain pretty much knows that she plays a villainous character on the soap, it is pretty much understandable if some fans can get caught up in the story and lash out on her instead of on her character.
McClain asked her fans to always keep in mind that she is only playing the role of Kelly and asked them not to tag her if they had negative comments to say about her character. While McClain's post was mostly about herself and that of her fans, the actress also seemingly hinted that she would soon be leaving the show.
"I don't wanna lie to you about anything but I also don't want to jump the shark and ruin a cool storyline," she shared.
Neither the network nor McClain has confirmed or denied if Kelly will be leaving the show, but fans began speculating that either Kelly will be killed or she will be sent to a mental facility after McClain posted that she is no longer part of "Young and Restless." Celeb Dirty Laundry noted that the actress deleted the post later on and claimed that it was only a "technical error."
"The Young and the Restless" airs Monday to Friday on CBS.
