"Scandal" spoilers reveal that Olivia will be finally making time to hire a new Gladiator after two of her members have vacated their positions with Harrison's tragic death and Abby's promotion as the new White House press secretary. TV Line reported that the new Gladiator will be a familiar face for "Scandal" fans and avid viewers, as the new hire has previously appeared as a guest star, whom Liv has previously crossed paths with.

"Scandal" fans know that the series has a long list of guest stars, but some fans started pulling their own list of guest stars they wish to see as series regulars. Inquisitr cited that Portia de Rossi, who has previously played Elizabeth North in the series knows the ins and outs of being a Gladiator and may take a spot in Liv's office after finishing on Mellie's campaign.

The outlet also noted another potential Gladiator, Cornelius Smith Jr., who has appeared on the series as Marcus Walker. According to the outlet, Marcus Walker has the characteristics that Liv needs in a Gladiator, with him going the extra mile to help whenever someone is in need.

Meanwhile, spoilers from Entertainment Weekly reveal that fans will be able to see just how desperate Mellie can get as the First Lady's Senate race heats up. According to the outlet, Mellie's campaign "will make her revisit Jerry's death."

"Scandal" will not air on Thursday, April 30 to give way to "Grey's Anatomy's" special two-hour episode after Derek Shepherd's shocking death. "Scandal" resumes on May 7 with its season finale on May 14.
