Aside from favorite PlayStation games, Sony is also giving a huge discount on Japan-inspired movies in celebration of the Golden Week. "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" and "Inuyasha" are just some of the movies being offered to the public at low prices until May 4.
The PS community is currently gorging on various Japanese products of PlayStation Store from games, to TV shows, to movies. PS is offering discounted SD and HD prices of 20 movies for this year's Golden Week celebration including an uncut version of "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" and four "Inuyasha" movies.
The standard definition of "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods Uncut" is being offered at $6.99 while its HD price is at $9.99 only. The animated film was released in 2013 and was considered an official part of the Dragon Ball storyline. The film conquered a milestone as the first-ever Japanese film to hit IMAX Digital Theaters and even listed as Japanese box office's 11th highest-grossing film of the year earning a ¥3 billion (about US$30 million).
Sony also treated the fans with four "Inuyasha The Movie" on sale."Inuyasha The Movie 1: Affections Touching Across Time", "Inuyasha The Movie 2: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass", "Inuyasha The Movie 3: Swords of an Honorable Ruler", and "Inuyasha The Movie 4: Fire on the Mystic Island" are all in at $6.99 SD price and $8.99 for HD.
Other movies included in the Golden Week's discounted movie list are "Bleach the Movie 2 - The Diamond Dust Rebellion", "Naruto the Movie: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom", "Naruto: Shippuden the Movie" and many more.
Golden Week is a combination of various holidays in Japan including Showa Day, Constitution Memorial Day, and Children's Day to name a few.
Sony treats their loyal community with products on marked down prices in honor of Golden Week in Japan. The public can get discounted SD and HD versions of movies like "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" and "Inuyasha" along with games and TV shows on PlayStation Store until May 4.
