Apple Retina MacBook Pro 2015 Update: Broadwell Powered Mac Launch Imminent at WWDC 2015; Together with iPad Pro

By

Finally, the Apple Retina MacBook Pro may have a date for its public launching and it's highly likely it would be at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) that is set to kick off this June 8 in the Moscone, at San Francisco, CA - practically the same venue of Microsoft's Build Conference.

Though no official public announcement has been made by the Cupertino-based tech giant, the launch has become imminent in light of Intel's new Broadwell processors which are intended to arrive pretty soon.

Also, Apple is expected to introduce a slew of new hardware products which should include the next generation Apple TV and iPad's latest iteration - the iPad Pro.

Currently, iMac and the 15-inch MacBook Pro are utilizing Intel's Haswell microprocessor, a microchip that went through strict industry standards namely the 22-nanometer manufacturing process.

Broadwell is Intel's next generation microprocessor set to arrive by "mid 2015",notes TechPowerUp.

This could be the rationale why Apple is rushing the release of its latest Retina MacBook iteration.

Both Broadwell-based Core i5-5675C/5675R and Core i7-5775C/5775R reportedly give a bump to CPU over-all performance and boasts of the Iris Pro 6200, an integrated graphics processor.

Classic example of Bradwell efficiency is the 13-inch MacBook Pro which when fitted with the powerful processor now carries stunning trackpad with Force Touch technology. This time it could be the 15-inch MacBook Pro's turn.

In hindsight, Apple introduce the MacBook Pro with Retina Display at the WWDC 2012. On the same note, WWDC 2015 could be the proper time of the Apple Retina MacBook Pro.

Further, speculations are rife that the rumored introduction of Apple's latest MacBook will be accompanied with the launch of its next tablet, the iPad Pro which this time is believed to be bigger than the size of the iPad Air 2. This is welcome news in spite the fact that iPad sales may be slowing down as reported earlier.

WWDC 2015 would be the 26th consecutive year Apple has undergone such a technical conference. This year the event which will last from June 8 to June 12 will see over 1,000 Apple engineers pore over 100 technical sessions. Various Design Awards will be given to bring the limelight to apps which has "demonstrate technical excellence, innovation and outstanding design" for Apple products from the iPhone to the Apple Watch, notes Ecumenical News.

If things go as planned, 2015 could be glorious year for all Apple Retina MacBook Pro hopefuls.
