Pokémon Omega and Alpha Sapphire Update: Patch 1.4 gives Flygon mega evolution? Hack Pokémons kicked out, Celebi, Chespin arrive

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is set to receive a new patch that gives players new features to access and challenges to conquer as well as a possible mega evolution for Flygon.

After getting the patch 1.4, players can now enjoy the Wonder Trade option, connection to the Global Trade Station, redemption of Mystery Gifts, use of the Game Sync feature as well as using the Player Search System.

Players need to manually download the update from the Internet, follow the on-screen prompt and agree to the update. After the download process, check the changelog for the update in the View Details option in the Nintendo eShop.

Also, the game went through a recent maintenance after which players noticed that nicknames of the Pokémon are no longer shown to opponents when in battle. There has also been an improvement in the hack check system, in which hacked Pokémon's are disconnected immediately from the Battle Spot.

Rumors have it that Game Freak developers said that a mega revolution will be coming anytime soon, and that it is Flygon receiving it for this patch.

Previously, developers were in disagreement about the design of Flygon's mega evolution state, making Aarune the only key character not to have one. This resulted in an influx of designs from fans which could have narrowed down the developer's design search.

Hopefully they have chosen one and Flygon will have that long overdue state already.

Recapping the events, players who participated in the Battle of Hoenn Competition in January received the entry gift of a Level 10 Tyrunt that has a Hidden Ability of Sturdy. Eligible players were able to receive it should have redeemed the serial code for it before the end of 30 April.

Meanwhile, a new Pokémon event in Pokémon Shuffle will give players access to Pokémon Celebi. The event runs from 27 April to 18 May 2015, and players will be receiving Coins for first time completion.

Also, the password to get Pokémon Rumble World character Chespin has been released and it is 08804218. Chespin will have the moves Vine Whip and Seed Bombard. Its traits include Super Star under the Gift trait.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the sixth generation of the series and enhanced remake of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, were released in 2014 by developer Game Freak and publisher Nintendo for 3DS.
