Kingdom Hearts 3 is bound to make a series of appearances for fans this year as Square Enix, together with Disney, will be showcasing the game in several upcoming events.
The nearest one would be this June 16 to 18, which would be none other than the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, which will take place at the LA Convention Center.
The next one would be from August 14 to 16 at the Ahaheim Convention Center, which is the D23 Expo as reported by Day Herald. During this event, the official trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 will be launched, showing more of its gameplay features.
Of course, D23 is a major Disney event; hence, titles like this should be revealed to the audience.
Design&Trend, on the other hand, took note that November 3 will be the showcase for Kingdom Hearts as part of D23 in Japan. The trailer will be premiered in addition to an unnamed mobile game.
The original text on the D23 event website was written in Japanese, but was translated by avid supporters at KHInsider. More updates on the event will come sometime in August, and tickets will be available in September.
There are still very few details about the game itself. However, Tetsuya Nomura, who is the director of Kingdom Hearts III assures fans that more information on the Xbox One and PS4 game will be revealed come D23. In addition to this, he mentioned that a version of the title for mobile devices might be well on its way.
The last update would come from GamingBolt, saying that the characters from the title are being developed by studios in India based on the LinkedIn profile of Lakshya Digital, an Indian firm. This may imply the potential for the country to grow into game development and become at par with other countries like the UK, Japan, and the US.
With the many secrets still kept on Kingdom Hearts 3, which will be released 2016 or later, fans should look forward to both the E3 and the D23. These events will definitely give them a lot of scoop they would be hearing for the first time. Nonetheless, stay tuned for more updates.
