Both Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 5 will serve important roles for the Korean tech maker. Samsung is setting up the Galaxy S7 against Apple's iPhone 7 and the Galaxy Note 5 will have the job of continuing the excellent reputation of its predecessors.
The two devices will arrive in 2016 with recent reports saying that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will have a December launching. This earlier announcement and release of Samsung's flagship smartphone for 2016 is expected if this device is going toe-to-toe with iPhone 7 which is also reported to have an earlier release than its standard release cycle for iDevices.
Both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 5 seem to have extremely impressive specs, as these devices are projected as phenomenal devices of 2016. In terms of OS and RAM, the Galaxy S7 is said to have 6GB of RAM, a true octa core 3.0 x GHz processor, and a cyclone HMP technology for the chipset - the same technology used by Apple for its latest iPhone chipset. This will make the S7 two times faster than its predecessor, the Galaxy S6. The Galaxy Note 5 is also expected to run on an Exynos processors and it's likely the same with that will be used in the Samsung Galaxy S7.
The 4k display that Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature is certainly natural as the tech company has vowed to provide quality display and it has proven truough its most recent products. The foldable screen technology - an innovation that was demonstrated back in 2008 - is also suggested to arrive for this device. There will have gold and black variants, each with different texture and look for back casing, according to Hasan Kaymak's concept designs. The Galaxy Note 5 will have equally impressive display, if rumors are to be believed, with its 6-inch Ultra HD display. This would mean an increase in both screen size and resolution.
Other improvements that are expected to arrive for both devices include camera boosts from 20-MP with a Rotary System for the Galaxy S7 and a 21-MP camera sensor with improved optical image stabilization. The Samsung Galaxy S7 could also feature advanced and sophisticated functionalities like retina scanning and Touch ID button, as well as wireless charging support, and up to 256 GB storage option. The Galaxy Note 5 is also certain to have a Note Edge variant.
2016 will certainly be an exciting year for Samsung supporters and Android device users with these two highly anticipated releases from the Korean company. Will the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 5 be able to live up to its specifications? That's early to tell but the tech giant has been doing better in its attempt to fulfil the demands of consumers.
