Avril Lavigne continues to sing amid her battle with Lyme disease. She and husband Chad Kroeger of Nickelback have also set the record straight regarding their supposed divorce.
AVRIL SINGS IT THROUGH
Avril Lavigne is alive and kicking while recovering from Lyme Disease. On Thursday, the singer tweeted about a song that she has just recorded.
"Today I......Recorded a song in the studio! I made it through. Holy f--k #milestone," she wrote.
This is different from the song "Fly" which she released days before that she intended for athletes of the Special Olympics. Recently, she thanked all those who supported the song whose music video on Vevo garnered more than a million views. Each view helps support the Special Olympics.
Avril also advised her fans to take care of their health.
"Mind and body are connected....Love yourself, your body, spirit.. heart.. soul..listen to YOU."
COMPLICATED?
Avril continues to sing through the battles that face her, one of which is the reported divorce between her and husband Nickelback vocalist Chad Kroeger. This came up after the two were not spotted together that often ever since Avril had been sick. A report says Kroeger was not beside his wife and chose to let Avril face the disease on her own. When asked about Kroeger, she said he was supportive. This despite that the couple was said to have not been seen in public since April last year.
Kroeger on the other hand has already settled this long time issue. A report says the 40 year old frontman has addressed this during a performance last Valentine's Day saying he has been judged enough for being at the show than being with his wife. He said he and Avril have talked that it will be the last day that they will be apart on a special occasion.
So far, those have been the latest statements of Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger about their alleged divorce. Avril, who is recuperating from Lyme Disease, is more focused on inspiring more people through her songs.
