The Sims 4 expansions 'Get to Work,' 'Get to School', Star Wars costumes go live; Bug fixes arrive for Windows and Mac

Expansion updates for "The Sims 4" have arrived one after another early this month for users to try and explore. These- "Sims: Get to School" game mod, "May the 4th Be With You" update and other add-ons, and Mac and Windows Bug Fixes - and the hilarious bug that impregnates some male characters in the game make an interesting week for the games' fans.

EA has just released the latest patch with the version 1.6.69.1020 for "The Sims 4," bringing in add-ons and major bug fixes for the entire game, for general issues, as well as specific fixes for Mac users and "Get to Work" and "Outdoor Retreat" Expansion Pack.

Important "Sims 4" bug fixes for the overall game resolve crashing, freezing, and memory leak issues. Fixes for general issues include the following: proper display of table drawing, cancel interaction, enable testing cheats and save it per household, prevent food spoilage through Fresh chef traits, more responsible and appropriately dressed maids, Turn Garden will be on queue and wait for its turn except under emergency conditions, missing bottom steps for indoor stairs are removed.

For Mac bug fixes that come with the "Sims 4" update, three issues have been addressed: zooming in on medium-quality images cause shadows to disappear, crashing as a result of graphic quality to high, and inability to scroll with the mouse wheel when the game options on the Mac.

The "May the Force be with you" game mod which was announced to arrive a few days before also goes live today, complete with updates that allow additional three Star Wars costume choices. These are Darth Maul, Aayla Secura, and Boba Fett, in addition to Vader, Luke, Leia, and Yoda costumes which were introduced October last year.

Meanwhile, others celebrated the Star Wars Day by creating the world's biggest Millennium Falcon using LEGO bricks. It required lead project Dan and Chris Steininger, together with a team of fans, a total of 250, 000 grey bricks to create the amazing Han Solo ride. The father and son duo flew all the way from the US to Australia, Melbourne for this project.

"The Sims 4: Get to School" game mod was also released this first week of May. It allows users to enrol children in elementary and high school and make it a more dynamic experience by allowing them to join field trips, hunting collectible items, and wearing favorite costumes.

"The Sims 4: Get to Work" expansion pack has so far received the most positive feedback for the expansive options it brought, not to mention the new photography features that allow gamers to stage a photoshoot. It even received an endorsement from rapper Iggy Azalea by posting a photo of her Avatar to her Facebook account.
