If fans couldn't still map out the Inhumans in the episode 20 "Scars" of television series "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," then they have to prepare themselves for a war brought by these species on the part one and part two of the finale episode entitled "S.O.S." The finale will be broken into two parts, as Coulson and his team will enter their greatest challenge. In this episode however, the inhuman's endgame will be known, causing a war anyone will not expect.
Going back to the episode 20 "Scars," Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Robert Gonzales (Edward James Olmos) decided to investigate the newly-uncovered Inhumans. They want to use Skye (Chloe Bennet) to bridge the gap between the S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Inhumans. This stratagem must not be a good idea as Raina (Ruth Negga), an inhuman, warns Jiayang (Dichen Lachman), also belonging to the same specie, not to trust anyone. She made this possible because of her clairvoyance.
Soon after, when they embarked to Afterlife to perform the operation, everything seemed to run well. But Jiayang's intentions are not so benevolent. She shot Gonzales, causing him dead and used his gun to shoot herself. In a nutshell, she framed Gonzales for shooting her, making it look like a self-defense. She then declared a war between S.H.I.E.L.D and the Inhumans.
Meanwhile, this time around in the part one of "S.O.S," the full-on war pronounced by Jiayang will transpire. Coulson and his team will make some shocking sacrifices and the endgame of the Inhuman will finally be revealed. After the part one of "S.O.S," it will likewise be followed by the part two on the same day. The part one was written by Jeffrey Bell and is directed by Vincent Misiano. The official synopsis reads: ""S.H.I.E.L.D. puts everything on the line to survive a war that blurs the line between friend and foe. Coulson and his team will be forced to make shocking sacrifices that will leave their relationships and their world changed forever on the two-hour season finale."
Apart from the main cast of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," the double episode season finale will be joined by guest actors including Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie, Ruth Negga as Raina, Kyle Maclachlan as Cal, Jamie Harris as Gordon, Christine Adams as Agent Weaver, Mark Allan Stewart as Agent Oliver, Maya Stojan as Kara/Agent 33, Dichen Lachman as Jiaying, Luke Mitchell as Lincoln Campbell, Kyle Mattocks as Agent Harris, Ryan Powers as S.H.I.E.L.D. tech agent, Alicia Vela-Bailey as Alisha, and Daz Crawford as Kebo.
So, what do you think will happen in the season finale? Can S.H.I.E.L.D. team beat the Inhumans? Make sure not to miss this two-hour season finale of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," on May 12, 9:00-11:00 PM ET on ABC.
