A release of the much awaited "Half Life 3" might not happen, ever. Concept arts of the online game might be making rounds online but does that mean that the game will be released any time soon, or be released at all. The favorite Gravity Gun from the "Half Life" series can now be enjoyed in GTA V.
Popular concept artist Shane Baxley is just one of the believers that "Half Life 3" is never going to be released. But instead of sulking over the assumption, he would rather work and create concept arts for the much-awaited game. He would rather have his "Half Life 3" dream converted into art, rather than being stuck hoping that Valve Corporation would be releasing the game anytime soon.
Kotaku.com featured several of the art concepts Baxley had for the "Half Life 3." The artist is also well known for his works in Black Ops III, Subaru, Disney and MLB.
It was earlier reported that "Half Life 3" might actually be under development but it seems like Valve Corporation's focus is in the abandoned "Half Life 2" chapter. Warren Spector's promised of a new "Magnet Gun" for the 'Half Life 2" series as well as details about the "Half Life 3" updates remains to be promises and Valve Corporation is not revealing anything to the public as well.
Meanwhile, the "Gravity Gun" one of the most iconic aspects in the "Half Life" series may not be manipulated by Gordon Freeman ever again. Gamers are left with no choice but to take advantage of the "Gravity Gun" in "Half Life 2", or dream of a "Half Life 3" version of the gun, that would most not likely happen at all. Dream no more. Thanks to modders of the GTA V, a similar version of the "Gravity Gun" can now be enjoyed for gameplay. It may not look and feel as impressive as that of Gordon's in "Half Life 3" but its way better than just hopes and dreams.
GTA players can now wnjoy their own gravity gun dressed as a taser and can pick people, cars and other inanimate objects. It can lift them and drop them in various heights and can shoot them off into the distance providing the destruction and entertainment for the game. An installed Script Hook V in a working copy of GTA V is all you need to enjoy this version of the gravity gun.
Valve Corporation remains to be mum about the updates and development of "Half Life 3." But most of the online gamers and professionals working in the gaming industry believe that the game expansion is never going to happen at all. Fans of the game find sanctuary in GTA V featuring the almost too similar "Gravity Gun" from the "Half Life" series.
