Resident Evil 7 is one of the games fans are hoping to appear sometime this year. The horror and survival game from Capcom has had its ups and downs, which makes it exciting to see if the next version would make for a good comeback.
As of now, there are a lot of rumors going around as to whether the game will be released by the end of this year. Moreover, some are concerned if Resident Evil 7 would even make appearance in the coming E3 this June.
AttackoftheFanBoy takes into account certain trends in the gaming industry for this possibility. Seeing that the first part of the year was quite a downslope, bigger titles are expected in the next half of 2015. This would include franchise names such as Resident Evil and Halo.
In terms of what Capcom will be bringing to the table this E3 2015, ChristianToday writes on the description laid down by the developer. It is said that they will offer games in the field of adventure, action, wresting and fighting. These will be available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
Should it be that Resident Evil 7 will have any updates during the expo, perhaps it would be because Capcom will use the time to uncover Devil May Cry 4: Enhanced Edition, which will be launched on June 18.
As for other rumors on the horror video game, MCrunch talks about a leaked screenshot which suggests Racoon City to be the main setting. Those who have been following Resident Evil will know that this was the location during the first three parts of the game. A lot of horrific experiences were derived in Racoon City for the entirety of the trilogy.
If this would be true, then feedback from WhatCulture may be heard; which includes comments that the terrifying aspect of the game is what Capcom should get into. For instance, allowing the undead to use guns was not a much appreciated feature in the recent versions.
Fans can only hope that more updates about Resident Evil 7 will come soon, particularly in the E3 for 2015. Until then, the hearsays coming around should be taken knowing that they are unofficial.
