Let's begin with the update every Android, not only Samsung, device user is wishing to have: the memory leaked bug fix. Another update with overall performance characteristics is also said to be arriving for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, and this time it is set for general roll-out. The upcoming update with the build number XXU1AOE3 aims to improve the fingerprint scanner and compatibility with a number of accessories as well as tweaks the interface in a few of Samsung's own apps. A fresh, new feature in the Photo Editor app is also said to be arriving along with this update. Reports, however, have not mentioned about the memory leaked bug fix that the previous version with XXU1AODG build is said to have resolved. Other Android phones that encounter the same memory leak bug include the Nexus 5, Moto G, among others.

Owners of Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6, and S6 Edge also have something to look forward to as the Android 5.1.1 firmware upgrade for these three Samsung devices will receive major overhauls particularly in the camera department. New camera features that are expected to come along with the upgrade include support for full Google camera application program interface (API) on Android Lollipop, RAW shooting support and shutter speed control.

T-Mobile has just released the Android 5.1.1 firmware, but subscribers must not expect to have the anticipated camera features just yet. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S5 has recently received the factory reset version of the Android 5.0.
