‘Modern Family’ Season 6 Episode 24 Spoilers: The Family Celebrates Alex's Graduation Party; Phil Tries to Attend The Gathering Through Skype

By

Following last episode's hilarious events wherein the family made Alex celebrate her senior ditch day that ended up at an unexpected detour, ABC's comedy sitcom "Modern Family" is now ready to air its season finale episode with Alex's graduation party.

Now that Alex's senior ditch day is over, the family is set to celebrate her graduation party next on "Modern Family" Season 6's 24th and final episode.

In SpoilerGuide's description of the upcoming episode entitled "American Skyper", the whole family goes to Jay and Gloria's to feast for Alex's (Ariel Winter) graduation party.

Phil (Ty Burrell), who also ended up in a diversion after taking Alex out last Modern Family episode, won't be coming this time though as he is unexpectedly detained in Seattle for a business trip -a situation which makes him cleverly discover another way to be present in the gathering through Skype and a robotic vessel.

Meanwhile, as the celebration goes on, Jay (Ed O'Neill) worries about Gloria's (Sofia Vergara) cousin who seems to have overstayed his welcome. Claire (Julie Bowen) on the other hand, who got a job offer from a big hotel chain last episode, stresses about finding the perfect graduation gift for Alex.

Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) will be hiding the news of being laid off from Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) while Andy's (Adam Devine) girlfriend, Beth (Laura Ashley Samuels), will be in town creating a whole lot of tension with Hayley (Sarah Hyland) which will finally lead to a realization which may have come too late.

Will Phil's ingenious way of celebrating Alex's party with the family via Skype be as effective as it sounds? Will the graduation party be as successful as how the family wanted it to be?

Find out on the season 6 finale episode of ABC's "Modern Family" on Wednesday, May 20.
