Lana Del Rey just gave her fans a bout of 'Springtime Sadness'. The singer had cancelled her Endless Summer concert in Dallas, Texas on May 9 due to adverse weather conditions.
Mother Nature was not working in the ''Serial Killer" singer's side when the severe weather made it impossible for the concert to pull through at the Gexa Energy Pavillion. Lana Del Rey had already anticipated a lot of 'hater action' prior to the concert and was hoping that the weather would clear up but the odds did not seem to be in her favor.
According to some news reports, Lana Del Rey skipped out on the concert to date her Italian boyfriend, Francesco Carrozzini. The pair were seen on numerous occasions since they reportedly started dating last summer. While both have kept quiet about their relationship status, eyewitnesses say that both seemed happy and enjoyed each other's company while they were together.
However, this would turn out to be false reports since The Weather Channel had published a report saying that there were around three people who were injured and at least one was killed by the weather during the time the Lana Del Rey Concert would have taken place. The entire Dallas-Fort Worth area was placed under severe weather alert.
Fans were clearly upset when they found out that the concert was cancelled and that they wouldn't be receiving a full refund on the tickets. Many of the fans toom to Twitter to vent out their disappointment. Many reactions were mixed, but a great number of the fans still showed support for Lana Del Rey.
While Lana Del Rey would remain silent on her social media page, eyewitnesses would say that she threw a 'hissy fit' over the decision to cancel the concert. She would also quickly apologize to her fans via her Instagram page.
"Ladies and gentlemen I'm sorry that we weren't allowed to get on stage tonight," she posted. "And I'm sorry that I wasn't granted my request to at least tell you that in person."
Lana Del Rey is yet to reschedule the Dallas concert.
