As the new season of 'Key and Peele' is approaching, the pair is already out to spread good vibes to the people. At the White House Correspondents' Dinner last April 25, President Barrack Obama surprised the audience by letting his "anger translator" Luther (Michael-Keegan Key) come out and be on his side almost throughout his speech.
What happened was that Luther translated President Obama's calm speech into an angry rant and also gave warning to the audience to "hold on to your lily-white butts." While the president was going on with his speech, Key interrupted saying "Khaleesi is coming to Westeros" when Obama discussed something about Hilllary Clinton.
Luther left when Obama started ranting about the climate change, and as if on cue, he escorted himself out of the podium. But before literally leaving, he whispered out loud to Michelle Obama the words "He's crazy," pertaining to the president.
The little show was funny and came out naturally. Actually, the pair had only ten minutes to prepare for their skit, and that the White House wrote the quips that made the crowd laughing out loud. When Key was asked about Obama's performance and if the president should try acting after retiring, he said "I think he should. I think he could make a run at Denzel's (Washington) spot." And Key also added that the president should put on a few more pounds because he's kind of thin.
A musical trailer was already released for the 'Key and Peele's' new season. It's about the black people roaming around the streets and not getting harmed. This is a response to the ongoing racism that the black people experience up to now.
"Negrotown" is a utopia for the blacks, a dream of every black person. "Negrotown" is where blacks don't get harassed by the street cops. A black can get a home loan with very much ease, and "you can wear your hoodie and not get shot!"
The new season of 'Key and Peele' will be aired this coming July.
