The CW's "Arrow" finished its third season with intense scenes involving Team Arrow and Barry Allen as The Flash. The finale resolved the twists revealed throughout the season as it prepares for the next, which might present Ra's al Ghul's return and a "Constantine" crossover.
In the finale titled, "My Name is Oliver Queen," Oliver (Stephen Amell) told the League of Assassins' leader that he is not Al Sah-him. Ra's al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) then endangered almost everyone as he executed his master plan. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) calls Barry to intervene as "The Flash" in the finale that gives the audience "a very definitive end," says "Arrow" producer Marc Guggenheim.
CW has already renewed "Arrow" for another season that excites the diehards of the show. Guggenheim teases that it is quite common in the show to post temporary death, which could mean Ra's al Ghul's death in the show may not be permanent and he could make a comeback next season.
"Matt is a great actor and he's just a wonderful human being. I was just emailing with him the other day. We have ideas for how to bring him back next year."
Meanwhile, another thing that excites the fans of "Arrow" is the possibility of a "Constantine" crossover. DC Comics fans were saddened by NBC's decision to axe the show lead by Matt Ryan. Speculations are swirling online that the supernatural hero will appear in Stephen Amell's show. Even the Amell is open with the idea and even revealed that he talked to DC regarding the matter.
"I had had discussions with DC - so not NBC, not CW - but with DC Entertainment about guest starring on 'Constantine' when it was still on the air. And that was and is still on the table," Amell said.
"Arrow" season 3 finale showed Ra's al Ghul's master plan put everyone in danger. It also posted a cliffhanger that leaves the fans asking, "How can the show go on?" But definitely, it will go on as CW renews it for season 4 which might see the return of Ra's al Ghul and an appearance from Constantine.
