"House of Cards" showrunner Beau Willimon, together with the stars of the show Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, are mum about the vital details of the show's fourth season. Spacey instead reacted to the viewers' reactions to their show, telling them "Don't be so judgmental" while watching their characters.
Official details about "House of Cards" season 4 are being kept under wraps by everyone in the show, from the creators to the stars of the show. In most of his interviews, showrunner Beau Willimon has been vocal that he won't spill anything about the show or whatever they are working on right now.
According to Willimon, he knows how smart their audience is and that they already have an idea about what's going to happen next season. However, he mentioned what seems to be a hint about Frank and Claire's relationship. As show's third season explored the dark and unpredictable relationship of the Underwoods, season 4 might just elaborate the consequences of that.
"The scariest thing we can do with the story is, if these people got to the White House because of their mutual strength, what if they become each other's greatest liability?"
Kevin Spacey on the other hand has some advice for "House of Cards" viewers that are so much invested on the show's characters. Spacey blurts, "Don't be so judgmental," towards people who think that he is the same person as the character he plays in the show. The 55-year old actor said that he often gets, "How could you do that" questions from fans, pertaining to his character in a show or movie.
"It's like when you used to hear that soap opera actors would get smacked by housewives about the way they were treating their wife or their girlfriend on the soap opera. And it's like, 'F--king get a clue. We're actors. We're playing a part. It's not us.' Thank God."
Frank and Claire will possibly become each other's liability in "House of Cards" season 4, revealed creator Beau Willimon. Diehards of the show should also consider Kevin Spacey's advice about not being judgmental once they watch the show's next season, which will drop on 2016.
