"Mistresses" is about to comeback with season three and as expected spoilers and updates are starting to pile up. As the show suffered from losing one of its main characters, Savi, after Alyssa Milano left the show, it looks like the fans of the show will have to add two new characters to the list.
The show ended its season two with loads of questions still waiting to be answered. Although Savi'(Alyssa Milano) plays a major role on the show Jes Macallan (Joss) confirms that her departure in the show won't affect much the story line of the upcoming season.
Fans should start expecting another hot and fabulous Mistress as Jennifer Esposito had landed a series-regular role on the season 3 of Mistresses. The actress will portray the character of Calista Raines the "uber-fabulous and larger-than-life" woman who be Joss' "friend, mentor and surrogate sister" following the exit of the Joss' "real" sister Savi (Alyssa Milano).
Calista is described as the creative director of a luxury fashion brand who live a high-class socialite lifestyle who posses a sense of humor and style but underneath lies a loneliness she's hiding behind her "fabulous" outer appearance.
Another surprise for the fans is the arrival of Brian White's character who will play as the new love interest of Lucy's single mom April. Blair (Brian White) is will the headmaster at the school Lucy and from there fans can expect another blooming relationship between the two.
Blair's character is said to "embody authority and strength and works the hell out of a suit" which will become the primary reason for April to find herself drawn towards him especially since Lucy badly needs a father figure around her. Fans should also expect another family member of April as the production team of Mistresses is planning to introduce the mother of April around episode 6.
Meanwhile rumor has it that a character from season 1 will be back and it's no other than Scott (Justin Hartley) and fans are specualting that this comeback has something to do with Savi's exit.
Season 2 of "Mistresses" left questions that will finally be answered as the third season is fast approaching. Questions like Is Karen pregnant? Will Savi find out out about Harry and Joss?
