"The Hateful Eight" is the upcoming film of Quentin Tarantino and is set to hit the theatres later this year. New photos emerged showing the full cast of the upcoming film who are dangerous, rugged, and dirty as they also gave homage to another Tarantino movie entitled "Reservoir Dogs."
"The Hateful Eight's" promotional photos showed the prominent members of the movie including Kurt Russell, John Ruth, Tim Roth, Oswaldo Mobray, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Samuel Jackson. Aside from the photos, there are also brief descriptions of each of the characters in one of the much-anticipated film.
According to a report, "The Hateful Eight" pays homage to another film by Tarantion, the critically praised film entitled "Reservoir Dogs." According to Tarantino, the movie's them is about a bunch of guys in a room who cannot trust each other. He added, "That wasn't a marching order when I sat down to write the script, but pretty quickly I realized this is kind of a nice coming-full-circle."
The homage to "Reservoir Dogs" is likened to "The Hateful Eight" in terms of how the film progresses. Both movies were shot in just one location making the characters weave in and out of the area so the audience could learn more about them throughout the film. However, "The Hateful Eight" might have followed the pattern of "Reservoir Dogs" but since it is a film about betrayal, the characters feel like it is a masquerade party since no one knows who anyone really is.
Most of the actors in the film are well-known and have been part of Tarantino's past films. "The Hateful Eight" is also set in the West such as Tarantino's previous film entitled "Django Unchained" but it was shot in a colder part of the country adding to the intensity of the "betrayal" going on amongst the characters of the film. The movie is also set eight to twelve years after the Civil War.
"The Hateful Eight's" plot is about betrayal and deception and it remains to be unknown if the characters will stay alive throughout the film. The movie is set to be released later this 2015.
