While Bungie has announced that the much awaited Destiny Patch 1.2.0 release is delayed via their official website's forum, exciting details on House of Wolves DLC have leaked online ahead of its May 19 launch. Speculations about a Destiny teaser showcased at E3 is also making rounds online.
The patch was scheduled to go live May 12 but was put on hold at the very last minute. Bungie didn't share any update on why Destiny Patch 1.2.0 was delayed at the last moment and what is the new release date.
Bungie Community Manager DeeJ via official forum revealed that what caused the delay of release for Destiny Patch 1.2.0 is due to late-breaking technical Issue which forced them to postpone the rollout as it would have affected the way the game launches for the most part.

"I've spoken with the finest minds at Bungie about Update 1.2.0 just moments ago. They're working to correct a late-breaking technical issue that would have impacted the way the game launches for a large portion of you. Progress is being made.
We'll be sharing new details on the deployment schedule that leads to House of Wolves as soon as they become facts. At the very least, you'll hear from me once a day about this. Hang in there, and thank you for your patience."
Meanwhile, before fans and game pundits begin speculating about a Destiny 2 teaser to be possibly showcased at this year's E3, new details about Destiny House of Wolves DLC is yet to release this May 19 are reportedly leaked online.
According to the data-miner (posted via Reddit), next week's Nightfall strike will be from the House of Wolves. This includes new Shadow Thief strike that sees players boarding a House of Wolves Ketch in the 'Ocean of Storms on the Moon', where they go head-to-head against Taniks. Also, there's a Fallen Walker that needs to be taken down in close quarters.
The said leak additionally revealed that the new strike will be a level 32 and come with modifiers for Nightfall including Lightswitch, Angry, Epic, Arc Burn and Nightfall.
Destiny's House of Wolves DLC is set to arrive on 19 May for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 and keep abreast on any new update that will be available on the patch 1.2.0 release very soon.
