'The Division' release date pushed back to first quarter of 2016? Dev Team explains why

By

The makers of Assassin Creed series, Ubisoft, has recently released that Tom Clancy's The Division game's released date has been moved to sometime next year.

In E3 2013, The Division was announced to be released in 2014. But to the anticipating gamers' dismay, the release date was pushed to 2015. This year, gamers will have to extend their waiting time again as Ubisoft declares The Division's release date to be during the first quarter of 2016. Reports say that Ubisoft has been working on The Division since 2013 and is once again pushing back it's release date in order to provide the best quality of the game to the gamers.

They've recently posted a statement saying that they're doing everything they can to provide the players with the best gaming experience.

They wrote:

Agents,

We have decided to release the game on Xbox One, PS4, and PC during the first quarter of calendar year 2016.

All of us at Massive, Reflections, Red Storm Entertainment and Ubisoft Annecy want to ensure the game not only meets out high expectations but also those of our fans and players alike. We are proud of what we have achieved so far and can't wait to show you more next month at E3!

Thanks for your support,

The Dev Team

Reports say that the delay of the game's release is actually a healthy decision for the developers. The previous year, the Assassins Creed Unity was also delayed, but only for a week. Apparently, the game wasn't that pleasing too play because it had a lot of bugs that caused major problems within the game. Ubisoft later gave away a downloadable content to make up to the gamers.

The Division is a game with post-apocalyptic set in New York, where civilization has been washed away due to the spread of a lethal virus. A target-shooter, who works as an agent in The Division headed by the President of the United States himself, tries every way to survive.

The division is multiplayer, open-world game by Ubisoft which uses the new Snowdrop Engine. It is part of Ubisoft's Tom Clancy franchise.
