The CW's 'Beauty and the Beast' series postpones its third season for three weeks. The original schedule for its debut was on Thursday, May 21 but was moved to Thursday, June 11, 8p.m EST.
'Beasties' will have to wait a few weeks longer for the release of third season of "Beauty and the Beast" after The CW network announces its delay earlier this month. Stuart Gillard, co-executive producer of the show stated the news in a press release.
"Beauty and the Beast" focuses on the love story between Catherine Chandler (Kristin Kreuk) and Dr. Vincent Keller (Jay Ryan). Cat, a talented police detective falls in love with Vincent, who turns into a werewolf when he gets enraged, with uncontrollable physical strength.
Recently, it was confirmed that The CW show was renewed for its fourth season. 'Beasties' were delighted to know that their favorite show will be extended. In a press release of the CW, fans were given several spoilers of what to expect of the third season. They are to expect more in the coming season as the two main characters focus more on their love, far from Muirfield, manhunts and terrifying creatures.
Cat and Vincent will face more danger and obstacles as they discover that innocent people are being used to cruel tests in order to gain knowledge on the boundaries of the impossible. Upon discovering a deeper conspiracy, the two faces a dilemma as they find out that the only way to fight it is Vincent unleashing the beast in him.
However, the lives of the protagonists face more threats if Vincent will release the monster inside him-his life and Cat's, along with the love they have for each other. It would be more difficult for the two to live a normal life, what would one expect? She has a beast boyfriend!
