KDDI, a local Japanese carrier has recently issued a corporate news release announcing the launch of HTC J Butterfly HTV31 highlighting the smartphone's camera qualities which exceeds the current 16 MP trend in other high-end brands. It boasts the 4K movie recording feature of the new Butterfly model which is possibly one of the firsts if not the only smartphone in the market to have this capability.
Another highlighted feature is the phone's personalization through widget choices, wallpapers and downloadable home screen. Users could sync the widget on display through the HTC Sense where the widget display changes according to the users' current location or activity. For example, when the user is approaching a train station, the timetable app is displayed. The device is perfect for music, thanks to its Dolby dual front speakers. HTC continues to create smartphones with leading "firsts" features.
HTC Butterfly series was the first smartphone line to produce full HD resolutions in the phone industry. It also features dustproof and waterproof capabilities. The hand will probably circulate within Japanese customers by June. As of the moment, HTC J Butterfly HTV31 will be distributed in Japan and no word yet for its US release.
HTC J Butterfly HTV31 could be a mouthful but it certainly matches features and specs. If it hits the US, this phone could top all others in the competition.
