The League of Legends newest patch was just launched this week and developers of this multiplayer online battle arena game provides gamers some interesting gameplay changes, bug fixes and character updates.
Riot Games, developer and publisher of the League of Legends, recently announced the big changes that comes with the new patch. There are new behind-the-scenes changes such as a new attack mode functionality and changes to combat text, along with character champion updates, just to name a few.
The new attack mode is something that the developers have been working on. They enhanced the way attack actions are made within the champion's immediate range and also added a new attack move targeting mechanism called "attack move on cursor", which allows players to simply pinpoint targets using their cursor. Players also have the option to toggle on/off this new functionality in the menus.
Other highlights of the latest patch notes includes champion updates for Ashe which solidifies her as the utility markswoman of League of Legends, and other changes for a few more characters such as Akali, Kalista, Tristana, among others. Other game updates includes changes to Cinderhulk Enchantment and the Skirmisher's Sabre, increase in attack and base damage for Dragon in Summoner's Rift, and a new damage percentage for Mark / Dash in Howling Abyss.
New skins will also be available for SSW Singed, SSW Rengar, SSW Talon, SSW Switch, SSSW Thresh, Star Guardian Lux, Ace of Spades Ezreal, King of Clubs Mordekaiser, Queen of Diamonds Syndra and Wild Card Shaco. Riot Games will release these new skins at various times during the duration of patch 5.9.
Riot Games also reveals details of the soon-to-be newest member of the League of Legends, Ekko: The Boy Who Shattered Time. Ekko is a powerful skirmishing assassin who thrives in extended fights, using mobility and crowd control to stun and slow targets, along with the ability to rewind time.
Players of this popular online game will surely be excited with the various game changes from the League of Legends newest patch, along with getting to play the new champion character, Ekko, soon.
