It maybe just one of those words on the street again for Batman v Superman but fans can hound onto this one for the meantime. Though Warner Bros. Pictures still hasn't cleared the smoke regarding the brewing "Doomsday" appearance, devotees can again pat gossip scribe Umberto Gonzalez on the back for his relentless updates.
The infamous superhero rumor mill machine, Gonzalez aka El Mayimbe gave a recent news throw down when he visited episode 31 of the Shanlian on Batman podcast. The once Latino-Review writer revealed some details for Warner Bros. Pictures second installment in the DC-shared universe. Gonzalez revealed selected elements in the digital audio file that are greatly to be put into consideration in the upcoming superhero mash-up.
The aforementioned "Doomsday" will be the "muscled" henchman for the main villain of the movie which is Lex Luthor. Doomsday is assumed to be the unstoppable juggernaut that will be the reason for the heroes in the movie to bond together for an early version of the Justice League. The arrival of this villain will also diminish the antagonistic rapport between Batman and Superman which is one of the premises of the movie. Doomsday is ill-reputed in the DC comic book canon to be the only villain to have beaten Superman to death.
Gonzalez has always been an omnipresent information guru for the past especially for the past few months now. From Gal Gadot's up to date promo shot for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to the other side of the fence, with Marvel's Captain America: Civil War costume concept art. For more movie leaking and mongering business, Gonzales has his own website dubbed "Heroic Hollywood", which will be launching in the near future.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be the first live-action film to feature both Batman and Superman and is scheduled to be released on March 25, 2016.
