The trailer for the biopic of Apple founder and technology innovator Steve Jobs is finally here!
With the title Steve Jobs, we finally have the first look onto what the movie will come about, as several stars were shown. And it looks nothing but entirely promising.
The film, directed by Danny Boyle, who is known for 127 Hours, and Slumdog Millionaire, and written for the screen by Aaron Sorkin, known for The Social Network will center the life and struggles of the late Steven Paul Jobs, CEO of Apple Inc. His passion and brilliance in defining and revolutionizing today's digital world. It will also feature the struggles that affected his family and the mere possibility of his fatal health condition. But it will shed an exploration to the triumphs of the modern day genius.
The film will be released in October 9 this year. And even with only the teaser trailer, it seems like it's going to be a good movie to watch out for. (And just a reminder, this is very different from the Ashton Kutcher 2013 film "Jobs")
Micheal Fassbender, known for his roles in Prometheus, X-men First Class and X-men Days of Future Past, will play the lead. This could've been for Leonardo DiCaprio, but he dropped it for The Revenant.
Along with Fassbender is Academy award winner Kate Winslet, known for Titanic, the Divergent Series and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, will portray Joanna Hoffman, former marketing chief of Macintosh. Seth Rogen, known for The Interview, This is the End and Pineapple Express, will be Steve Wozniak, who co-founded Apple. Jeff Daniels of Dumb and Dumber, Looper and Speed, will be former Apple CEO John Sculley.
Other stars include Katherine Waterston, Michael Stuhlbarg and Sarah Snook.
Universal Pictures has made one great move in accepting Steve Job's story be shown for the big screen, after when Sony Entertainment left the project in turnaround. And it seems that the cast is perfect for each role. Everything seems to be going right.
