League of Legend fans are waiting to hear more news from Riot Games about the Sion remake along with finding out more details about the new hero character named Ekko as the "Boy Who Shattered Time."
Last week's patch notes for the League of Legends brought game fans more details about the new champion named Ekko: The Boy Who Shattered Time. Ekko is a powerful skirmishing assassin who thrives in extended fights, using his mobility and crowd control to slow and stun enemies. The new hero is also a time wielder able to turn back time in instances when he's about to lose a fight.
Ekko's capabilities includes a Z-Drive Resonance passive ability that allows him to build up resonance stacks against enemies, with bonus damage and a slow effect triggering on every third charge. His Timewinder and Parallel Convergence abilities let players deal damage while simultaneously handing out slows/stuns to the opposing team. And the time-traveler's Chronobreak ultimate ability straight up allows Ekko to travel back in time, instantly teleporting him to the current location of his shadow.
The latest League of Legend news not only hypes up Ekko's abilities but also contains gameplay fixes and upgrades with the patch version 5.9. Changes includes new attack mode functionality, character and item updates and bug fixes.
Meanwhile fans of the game are also looking forward to hearing more news about Sion upgrades from game developers. Earlier this month, game developer Ryan "Morello" Scott shared insights about the upcoming Sion remake which hints at the character having a completely different set of skills and turning more into a life-stealing undead tank that he was meant to be.
Morello didn't mention when the re-worked Sion will be made available to gamers. Currently players are finding it fun exploring the new hero character Ekko, including other character updates which came with the latest League of Legends patch.
