Need for Speed is almost ready. EA Games will be revealing details of the widely popular racing video game on their Youtube Channel this Thursday, May 21st.
EA Games is set to reveal details of the upcoming installment to the crowd favourite Need for Speed via their Official Youtube Channel this coming Thursday. After the year-long hiatus, fans eagerly wait for news from the racing videogame. As part of EA Games' report to investors last year, the company revealed that Need for Speed developer Ghost Games has been given an "extended development window" to work on the upcoming game, which is set to be released later this year.
Ghost Games aim to involve fans with the development of the game and encourage them to voice out the features that they like with previous Need for Speed core games. It looks like the teaser on the Need for Speed official Facebook page which features a darkened, ominous background with a slight hint of shadow is the first in a series of teasers that aim to generate audience voice in order to make the newest Need for Speed more enjoyable for the ride.
Last year's announcement to grant Ghost Games more time to develop the new Need for Speed installment was a first in a long history of annual releases for the popular car game franchise. EA Games has been releasing popular core Need for Speed games since 1996 up until 2013 including the 2001 online racing game Motor City Online, which was subsequently removed from circulation. Fans have given a yearly dose of Need for Speed, but the hiatus are certainly making them more excited to see the new installment.
The long wait is almost over as Need for Speed fans get a preview of the new game this Thursday, May 21 via the official Youtube Channel.
