Friday the 13th reboot to have a classic but new take on Jason; Producers take fans ideas seriously

The reboot of the film Friday the 13th' will be more of a classical take on the antagonist Jason but something different can also be expected. The producers of the new movie have taken into consideration the views of fans of the long-time movie.

CLASSIC BUT NEW JASON

By classic, it meant the Friday the 13th remake will be more focused on the antagonist Jason that everybody loved to hate. This time though, a report says the producers plan on giving viewers not the usual Jason they see. This also means it will be no longer about the typical "found footage" plot as in the likes of the movies Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity and other horror films where events taking place are made to look they really happened. Producer Brad Fuller said that they decided to ditch the hand-held camera style in response to fans that mostly reacted negatively. This is why the makers are starting from zero which explains the long-overdue film.

DELAYED BUT FIRST-RATE

Fuller says the good thing about the delay is at least that there will be no more of the common found footage scenario. The team admitted that the fan's ideas in a way have and will have a big impact in the plotting of the story which only shows how much importance is given to avid viewers. A script is hoped to be completed in the next few months.

Platinum Dunes is the production company that handles the film with Michael Bay as one of the founders. Friday the 13th will not be a continuation of the same movie that was last shown in 2009 but it will be a remake. The creators confirmed in a report that the setting will go back to Crystal Lake where all of the running, hiding, screaming and killing will happen. Hannibal writer Nick Antosca pens the script.

The reboot to Friday the 13th will be shown on a Friday, May 13, 2016.
