Ultra Street Fighter IV PS4 Release set in a few days with 50% discount; DLC launches possible this year

Ultra Street Fighter IV should be a runaway success once released for Sony PS4 devices in a few days as reported. But Capcom may have made sure of it, paving the way for its DLCs with a successful marketing treat.

Just over the weekend: Play-all-you-can for free on your PC.

That sure made a hordes and hordes of Street Fighter fanatics drool. Yes, Capcom's most-wanted one-on-one fighting game was given for everyone's avid pleasure free over Steam - not to mention a 50% off on regular price.

Of course, the freebie ended Sunday 1pm PST, May 17th as announced. But that was enough to shake things off a little bit.

Not to be outdone, UK Capcom fighting game scene was filled to the brim with gaming action - catering to every enthusiast's ultimate fantasy. The eye-catcher: a 51-game double elimination tournament. That sure attracted top gamers in town. Among them: Problem X, Andreas, Pro Fluke, Hurricane237, F-Word, Isam, Ninja Shakz, Tyrant, RMZ.

For the uninitiated, the digital release of the game for PS4 has been set this May 26th, 2015. This is as announced by Sony's Gio Corsi who detailed what could be music to every fan's ear: All characters, level and DLC's that have been made available before will find its way to the PS4 version.

And a good news. Those who have experienced minor input lag happening to the controls while playing the PS3 version should rejoice as this has been ironed out.

And more good news.

Amidst all the buzz, a stunning reveal for die-hard fans: M. Bison the bad boy every love to hate in Street Fighter 2 is set to join Ryu, Chun Li and Charlie in the future Street Fighter 5. This time around, the big bad fighter gets even meaner. Launching is reportedly set next year.

Yeas, Street Fighter 5 is on the way. Many thought Capcom would stop at the Ultra Street Fighter IV iteration. But no.

Fact is, this franchise could get even bigger. Price for Ultra Street Fighter IV is set at $24.99, a cheap price for all the goodies and the complete DLC that you'll get.

Certainly, Ultra Street Fighter IV is worth the wait!
