It has been reported that 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate' will be released on October 23, 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. This time, the game plot will be set in London. For the first time in the Assassin's Creed franchise, the once single-player adventure will enable players to switch between two assassins.
After last year's Paris foray, 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate' will bring murder and mayhem in London, set in the Victorian era. This is the time where organized crime was more prevalent in the European society. Ubisoft also reveals the new assassin and the weapons you'll get to play with.
The two new assassins are Jacob and Evie Frye, a brother and sister tandem. It's actually a first for 'Assassin's Creed' to add a 'playable' female character in the franchise. Ubisoft described Jacob Frye as a hot-headed brawler, while his sister has a more rational temperament. When it comes to combat, the latter favors a stealth approach.
Apart from parkouring across rooftops, players of Syndicate will be able to ride horse-drawn carriages and trains. Ubisoft also confirmed reports that they've cranked up the hand-to-hand combat and fighting tempo. The hard part was the weapons wherein they had to re-think what's appropriate for the Victorian Era.
As seen in the recently released 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate' trailer, weaponry will be as brutal as ever - brass knuckles, Kuri knife, throwing knives and rifles are among the new additions. Nevertheless, you can still use rope launcher and smoke bombs. The 'hidden blade' is now a combination blade, firearm and hookshot.
Jacob and Evie will have to face the Templars, one of them is Bloody Nora. We have no details about what the Templars are looking for. What we know is that Bloody Nora is one of the Borough leaders. More so, get ready to meet historically notable figures in the game - none other than the famed novelist, Charles Dickens and biologist, Charles Darwin.
