If diehards of the drama thriller television series "Bates Motel" have been gobsmacked in the finale of the third season, worry not because there is a closure as one of the showrunners has recently revealed that there are still 20 episodes left to be aired. And in those remaining episodes, another one of the creators also teased the would-be blossoming relationship between Dylan Massett and Emma Decody.

While the finale of the third season of "Bates Motel" has just transpired, fans can't help speculate on what is in store for the characters. And although no official word has been announced yet by A&E on the renewal for season 4, the people behind the thriller TV show have apparently implied on some interviews that the show will still continue up to season 5. So for fans, breathe a sigh of relief as the show will still be seeing the light of the day again.

In point of fact, in an interview with Hollywood Reporter, co-showrunner Carlton Cuse have revealed that 20 episodes are still yet to be aired. Doing a simple math, the show's single season comprises only of ten episodes, and there have 30 episodes already. The 20 remaining segments just only imply that season 5 has been there the whole time but only hiding.

However, although some plans have been formed already, it is undeniable that the third season's ratings are not fairing among its rivals. No matter, the show must go on. Likewise, one of the executive producers Kerry Ehrin hinted in an interview that the show will be renewed for season 4. "In my head it was announced 2 months ago. I am told will be soon," she disclosed. She also noted that star Freddie Highmore (Norman Bates) would be writing an episode in the upcoming season.

Moreover, speaking of Norman Bates, the third season's finale has been a shock for the viewers. Fast-tracking, Norman has a split personality disorder and when asked by her mother Norma Louise Bates (Vera Farmiga) to seek help, the former ran away with Bradley Martin (Nicola Peltz) with a car. Now, because of this mysterious personality disorder, Norman killed Bradley by choking her up and slamming her head in a rock. Before you get confused as to why Norman did the unimaginable, it was "Norma," his mother, who did it. Norman just hallucinated that she became his mother.

But the story doesn't end there though, as the consequences of this action will continue in season four. Furthermore, lovebirds Dylan Massett (Max Thieriot) and Emma Decody (Olivia Cooke) will also have moments in the next season. It was actually apparent when they shared a kiss in season three. As always, there is a catch. Zap2it reports that Emma has this cystic fibrosis and she has just undergone a surgery. What happens after surgery and how will it change her life will be unravelled in the forthcoming season.

So there it goes. Lots of things will happen so make sure to tune in for updates. Anyway, are you excited for the upcoming season of "Bates Motel"? Do you think Emma will be relieved of her burdened? Who are your favourite "ships"? Your thoughts are welcome below!
