"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" lead star Johnny Depp allegedly flew back to the United States amidst reports that claimed he stormed off set recently.
Depp, who will be reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow, injured his hand on set back in March. After the incident, the actor flew back to U.S. to get treatment, according to NME. Also according to multiple sources, Depp needed a pin to be inserted in his finger and this has caused filming delays for approximately a month.
After which, the actor returned to Australia to continue the filming of "Pirates of the Caribbean," but a few weeks later left the country again to deal with his marriage troubles. However, Depp's publicist, Michael King, recently spoke with the Brisbane Times to deny reports that his client has been causing delays in the production schedule.
"I can't go into detail on our filming schedules or the movements of individuals but I can tell you nothing in that report has any relation to reality. Mr. Depp has been filming on schedule. It's business as usual, with all participants working," he said.
Meanwhile, there were also reports claiming that Depp left the set of his upcoming movie after his two dogs, Pistol and Boo, were asked to leave Australia. As of late, an investigation as to how Depp and wife Amber Heard were able to bring in their dogs to Australia is taking place, The Guardian noted. Depp's upcoming movie entitled, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men No Tales will be released in theaters in the U.S. on July 7, 2016.
The official synopsis of the film teased, "Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil's Triangle, determined to kill every pirate of sea... including him."
